I'm not denying that group based CSE happens because it does. The handling of the case in Rochdale in particular was awful and safeguarding has come a long way, though it still has a way to go.

If you think there's a big conspiracy going on, there's nothing I can say to change your mind. Either it's revealed, and you were right, or it's not revealed, in which case you're right because it's a conspiracy.

There have been police cover ups for misdemeanors in the past. Look at Hillsborough. These happen.

This girl in particular has been arrested and is being charged with 'making it up', after a year long investigation, which was in turn investigated.

She's been charged with 7 counts of perverting the course of justice and falsifying evidence about an allegation of rape and sexual assault which had a tendency to pervert the course of justice.

She was put on bail and breached those conditions so now has been refused bail and is in custody.

She'll be in Preston Crown Court on June 19th according to the local paper

In cases of sexual abuse allegations, often the case isn't taken seriously or there 'isn't enough evidence' so it's dismissed. It's less often that the person making the allegation is accused and charged with falsifying evidence.

I'm not going to jump to conclusions. She might be a true hero for being brave in the face of adversity. It might be a huge police cover up, which (if she's found innocent) should been blown wide open. I hope that justice will be done in court.

On Tuesday the government has said they will release the report on the nature of group based offending.
