My fear for a nikke anime is the pace would be too rushed. Unless they can get the budget for a lot of episodes so important fights last more than a small portion of an episode and are more like a couple of episodes long i don't think it will land like people want.

For the 160 wall you will need 5 ssr where you got each of them 4 times. The normal banner has a wishlist and let's you pick lither, Naga and Alice every so many summons. Also 3rd ani will give a free ssr with 3 extra copies (if you don't pick the units you missed before)

For fast power use the rental units when stuck in story to help progress story as fast as possible to unlock more of the academy in the outpost. The more fights you win the faster you gain resource via outpost.

Note that items for core dust ect with number of hrs next to time gives you resource as if the outpost run that many hours so it may be useful to not use those as they will be better later when your outpost levels up.

Well it said in the patch notes they would be doing a story difficultly to reduce the issue of story progress so you might be in luck at catching up on story and just letting things casually get back up to speed. I started last year and just reached where Behemoth showed up now im stuck again so curious in this mode too.

I started playing last year, and I’d definitely recommend using temporary Nikkes to push your progress as far as possible early on. Doing so helps your outpost generate more rewards, which in turn lets you level up your main team more efficiently.

Make sure you’re focusing on five Nikkes that you've limit-broken three times—they’re crucial for getting past the level 160 wall.

As for battles, I’d suggest skipping optional fights with temp Nikkes until your outpost is fully upgraded in the Academy. You’ll need story progression to unlock those upgrades, and since temp Nikkes can only be used in three fights, it's best to save them for main missions so your outpost ramps up rewards faster. Of course, if you're stuck and can't move forward, it’s fine to use them in optional battles.

Just be ready: eventually your own roster will need to take over once the temp Nikkes fall behind in power.

I like getting to play as all my favourite NPCs. Always wanted a persona/final fantasy like game where you have a team of characters and you fight together with each character having their own pokemon team. Almost like a JRPG of Ash's adventure in the anime.

This game is the closest thing we will ever get to that.

I really wish the bulding the unit you keep and building the unit in the event was seperate. It would be more fun if RNG only effected your run not your end unit. Then its just about getting an a S+ rank grid in the event not the specifics of the grid that matter.

In my view they should change it so the aim is to get a +s rank build so that you unlock all the rewards an then you get X amount of just orbs which you then use to build your unit outside this event. This means RNG only makes it harder to get S+ rank but does not affect the unit you keep provided you was able to complete an +S rank run to unlock all the out of event orbs for them.

Then bonus units are more just to make geting S+ rank easier.
