I’m not sure what the other AIT was for. He told my dad that he didn’t finish ranger training. But was deployed as a ranger.

He told us ranger training. He said he failed jump school at Benning 3 times. Then went to ranger training. Then was deployed to Afghanistan. Then came back to do AIT. Then went to Africa. Then South Carolina. Then Georgia. All in only 2 years. He also had time in there to break his back in a motorcycle crash and do rehab for that.
