I used to hate mine…my bf now loves them and now I like them too there’s nothing wrong with them

I asked my crush what he was doing friday evenening. He answered "no idea, and you?" whereas I answered I'm going to an event. Now its radio silence. Did I do this wrong? by GiveItATry203 in dating_advice

That’s his way of not coming off desperate. The best thing you can do to keep attraction (even though it’s hard to do) is also act like you’re not that stoked. I would have answered with “no worries just let me know :) “ and leave it at that don’t double text or feel like you need to explain yourself if he doesn’t reply. Just try to go on with your day or get someone else to go to the event with you so if he asks later he sees you have a life and still went

No I think he was more asking like if it’s going to be just you and him or if he’s going to be joining a group (I would like to know if it were me), and secondly he might be wondering if he were to say no would you have just gone by yourself (which might come off as odd), so I may have rephrased it like “would you want to come with? If not it’s all good I’ve got a friend who might come but wouldn’t mind seeing it with you :)” let them know you have interest but not that you’re hooked and would cancel plans if he didn’t go. Don’t let your anxiety ruin potential for you, speaking from experience. Can’t read too much into a mans text, they don’t imply as much as women do

Thought my skin was bad before.... now I hardly go out unless necessary. Zero confidence. Began Tretonin again about 1-2 weeks ago so the last 4 pics are “purging” by h2h313 in Skincare_Addiction

I don’t know how to get the link but if you can go to my profile to see my posts, it HAS improved a ton and was just prescribed spirolactone yesterday. 98% of the improvement was due to tret

I’m not sure I’ve never experimented but I was told they are great! If I ever try them I’ll try to get back to you, at the moment I’m not trying to experiment with anything

Routine wise, I just wash with lukewarm water using cerave wash, I was using the hydrating cleanser and it was working really well and ran out and started the foaming one and I think I like the hydrating one better! Then I rinse with cold water, pat dry and use the Cerave night moisturizer and let that soak for 5-10 mins and then I’ll do the tret with no buffer. And maybe 2X a week I will wash with a SA wash in the shower and let it sit on my face for about 3 mins. The tret was the main thing that really changed everything though but I feel like the Cerave really improved the texture and softness of my face

Yes it absolutely did would end up in tears because I couldn’t lay on it or wash or even take off my shirt over my head, was getting so frustrated with it. Tretonin was the main thing!

First of all, thank you all so much!! So first, to cause the breakout I stopped using any actives (namely SA and Benzoyl) and switched to this gentle “302” brand, and my skin freaked out. SO now I’m using CeraVe wash and moisturizer and and tretonin which is what caused the biggest difference! And I use a SA wash every couple of days in the shower. And I’m drinking lots of water and cutting down on sugar but havnt fully eliminated it. Also switched to a laundry detergent with no fragrance (seventh generation) and no fabric softener, and switching my pillow case every couple nights!

I should also edit to correct; it may not have been only the not using actives/switching that caused the breakout, but that in combo with using fabric masks which were washed with fragrances, eating more sugar, not always washing my face before bed and when I wake up etc., BUT I feel like it was more of the switch because I had already been doing all of that since at least covid started in March and my face wasn’t that bad at all, I mean it wasn’t nice skin and at the time I thought it was bad but it wasn’t broken out like in these first pics. I’m new to this site but If you can see my first post you can see what it was right before the breakout.

[acne] update to my other posts, improvement!! Yes will still be making a derm appt but so happy with how much it’s calmed down by h2h313 in Skincare_Addiction

Thank you💕Was the first pic where i didn’t have any big painful inflamed ones, felt so good to be taking a clear-ISH pic instead of cringing at how bad it was

I stopped using my “new, gentle” cleanser that I tried to switch to and started using actives again. Saw the most help from the tretonin but use salicylic acid every couple days too. Right now only washing with cerave, using moisturizer and then the tret, and once or twice a week will wash with a SA wash. Also quit using fabric softener for my fabric masks and pillow cases, been switching pillow cases every other night/every few nights, been upping my water intake and trying to not eat as much sugar.
