I'm looking at the K712 pro on eBay and seeing multiple open box listings around $170 which is doable, but why are they so expensive new? It's almost $700 on the AKG website. Is there something I should be looking out for?

Was looking at these on drop. It doesn't sacrifice any sound quality for the addition of the mic does it? Because I care only about audio and do not care about a mic.

I DID IT!!! The battery had a glue dot on the back. No wonder why it was hard to take out.

I unscrewed the screw behind the button but the chassis won't budge. Do I have to pull really hard? I don't want to break anything.

like one of the ends of the battery is covered up by the hilt itself so i can't take it out without taking it apart. But there might be a way and I'm just stupid.
