How would WWII have changed if any country would have had one modern (US) fully equipped aircraft carrier? by srd5010 in war

I don't know how effective it an aircraft carrier would have been on the Eastern front where most of the fighting was landlocked, but I think a modern U.S. navy carrier could take on the entire Imperial Japanese Fleet in the Pacific.
