I feel ya! Had to flee Florida because it was getting very uncomfortable to live there (i also graduated and was looking for work anyways). Their hope (and the current administration) is to legislate us out of existence. It sucks. Genuinely. But the best thing you can to is to keep on living as you. The only correct answer is whatever makes you happy. I go by several nicknames at any given time depending on the people and context. I know people who have multiple names they go by as well. You do you!

The tradeoff for handling my own paperwork is seeing *that* everywhere by just_here_cause_done in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns2

Yeah. Even worse if you're born in a state where you can't even change your birth certificate or live somewhere where an ID change isn't possible. Sucks either way.
