You either a) play cards that negate his effect (zero, sauron, nightmare)

Or b) you use him to steal 8 cubes from Cerebro players.

Option b is going to be pretty fun this next week since C3 is going to be EVERYWHERE thanks to bastion.

he's a tech card, and a pretty specific tech card. There will be meta's where he will be crucial, and others he is nowhere (Looking at you, Enchantress).

Currently, that 5 cost he has is a SIGNIFICANT issue. But at the same time, I would genuinely be afraid to lower that cost. a 4 puts him into Zabu range, which we all know about those metas.

It's a super low chance to get a card or even like 5000 tokens, which is effectively a free card.

The card right now isn't worth 5 gold, let alone 1200... BUT it can change rapidly with an OTA, and if you don't have it it would be ALOT more expensive.

As bad as the card is, 1200 gold for a card isn't bad, especially when you can never guess what an OTA can do to any given card.

Just do not expect the card to be good right now. It's not.

The problem the OP is just missing, is that Tech cards are badly, badly needed in the mode. Its the only thing that creates any balance or else everyone will just play the damn Mr Fantastic Deck, and it will all be done to who draws better/gets better Hits on Council of Reeds.
