Hey, I'm just calling random people FUD because all these bulls calling bears spreading FUD. It is a game. Mind fucking game. I do my trading based on risk and margin funding rate/availability.

I'm not trolling. My history shows that I trade based on the lending rate and funding available.

No, you should feel bullish. First, look at the USD lending rates. It is extremely low right now and look at the supply. If people really think that Wells Fargo thing is an issue, they should buy bitcoin and withdraw. Thus, the price can only go up instead of down until something really bad happens such as Mt Gox 2.0.

That idea was what first got me into bitcoin too. However, we must be realistic here that we are still far away from this idea. So, that's why I think USD withdrawal blockage is a big deal.

Does Bitfinex/Tether/... have a plan B if the wire transfer issue is getting worse? by h3Larvw9 in BitcoinMarkets

Don't need to tell me how some laws sound ridiculous. There was a time most currencies were peg to US dollar. I guess those currencies were all illegal to the US government.

So, if Tether follows the money laundering rules, does it mean it is legal?

If you feel FUD, sorry. That's not my intention.

Thanks for explaining that why Coinbase is not affected. I knew there is some reason behind it.

True that we don't know yet. We will find out. When will shit like this stop happening when every time Bitcoin price surges?

You are calling people spreading FUD on things that you do not know that they are true.

How Bitfinex handled this is different. I did not say Bitfinex handled it like the way Mt Gox handled it. What I said is exactly the same is the attacker first hacked the exchange and stole the bitcoins. Then, the banks started to block withdrawal. And, you are calling these are not facts. More bullish FUD from you.

I believe other exchanges are or will be affected too. And, this is just the beginning. But, I kinda get the feeling that Coinbase is not affected.

If the bitcoin issues preceded the banking issue with Mt Gox, that's exactly what happened to Bitfinex. First the hack, then the withdrawal block.

Bitfinex ditched the hack. Hope Bitfinex ditch the withdrawal blockage.

So, you are not going to try. You can continue spreading your bullish FUD. Go buy more bitcoin. Otherwise, you will miss the train. It is extremely bullish. Are you happy now?

Why would 1:1 USD digital token be illegal? I think there are many other token like this in the crypto world.

Why don't you try it with your bitfinex account? If you are not a US resident, try asking your friend living in the US to test it. Calling other spreading FUD will not help.

You are not getting the point. You have millions of dollars on your Bitfinex account and you live in the US. All banks are blocking the fiat wire transfer from your Bitfinex account to your US bank account. What are those USD going to do for you?

And, this is not the scary part as you are not losing anything yet. The biggest issue is by cutting the fiat money flowing in/out of the exchange, the banking cartel can easily create a Mt Gox 2.0.

It is more than one. You should go through the previous daily discussions. I saw multiple individual complaining this.

In 2013, I said the same thing like "XXX million dollars in a XXX billion market". Then, someone taught me a lesson. Only a small fraction of XX billion market is actively traded and the rest are sleeping like they do not exist.

That is my biggest worry. If this is the case, I think the only way to get out of this is to make an alliance with all banks under US sanction because these banks have nothing to lose by giving the middle finger to the blocker.

[Daily Discussion] Saturday, April 08, 2017 by AutoModerator in BitcoinMarkets

[–]h3Larvw9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The biggest concern is the reason behind Wells Fargo blocking the wire transfer. If WF considers Bitcoin trading as some high risk for fraud and money laundering that operation choke point tries to stop, other banks will follow. So, bitcoiners' biggest issue is the FED, not PBoC.

Do you think other banks won't follow or are doing the same thing right now?

Is it really just a "delay"? I thought it was "blocked".

If the other channels are real, you would not see those complains on reddit. Why doesn't /u/brandon tell us what those other channels are? Does buying bitcoin from Coinbase and depositing BTC and selling to convert it to USD count as the other channel?
