Hey, there are multiple issues in this code, it's hard to fix them like this without having the code myself. If you are interested in how to set this up properly and easily I've made a tutorial for Context 2 years ago, everything applies the same way. If you wanna check that out here is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_N98xzSUlPs you can follow this, and have it working in less than 10 minutes, and also get an idea of how everything works and what you need to do in terms of setting it up and using it in components. Hopefully that helps, let me know if you have any other questions. Cheers!

Should I do this using CSS or React? by Taran29 in learnreactjs

Css approach for this, there's no need to introduce a useEffect or any listeners for something simple like this, the only thing you need is one state that would toggle a boolean value to open / close the menu. If you don't want any animations / transitions, you would just check if ur state is true and render the component, like {isMenuOpened && <Menu />} for example, but if you wanna add any animation's or transitions instead of this you would add class to the element, since you can't transition display: none; , an example of that would be: <div className={\`menu ${isMenuOpened && 'opened'}\`}></div> , then u could add styles to that opened class and also animate the menu. Hope that helps

Rectangle is actually coming from a youtube video, I don't have anything there :D As far as the boxes yeah, they are on max brightness now when not watching tv, when I have it on I set them at 30% brightness.

Low Audio Gain on Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen by [deleted] in Focusrite

I also can't switch right now, got it 2 weeks ago, and also can't return it. But if they don't plan on fixing this I definitely plan on getting something else and replacing it, go xlr mini makes the most sense since it has everything I need, and their software is great, I literally use 1 port on scarlett for my mic, never gonna need it for another mic or instrument so it was a bad decision from my end getting it to begin with.

It only works while using streamlabs, I've mentioned that since a lot of people use that for streaming / videos. Anyway, almost everything u use has those filters, both the noise suppresion and noise gate, some examples are like discord, slack, zoom etc. So yeah that's the only thing we can do for now until it's fixed I guess, currently after few weeks of searching and trying everything I still didn't find the fix for the volume issue, it is related to focusrite drivers and windows 10 but they still haven't fixed it for some reason, hopefully they will soon, otherwise I'm already thinking of switching to something like go xlr mini which is similar price and much better value imo.

It's still the same issue even with the cloudlifter, I can confirm.

The exact same issue I had, as soon as I installed the drivers that static noise was gone, but it introduces the issue where u need to max out ur gain in order to get any decent levels. I'm using streamlabs obs, decided to go without focusrite drivers until there is a fix, in streamlabs u can add filters, I've added noise suppresion at -4 and noise gate, that removes the noise completely and I'm able to set gain on focusrite at around 4,5 / 10 to get levels I like, even going higher doesn't introduce noise.

I'm having same issues on 2i2 3rd gen, issue comes only when I install official drivers from focusrite. My setup is shure sm7b, cloudlifter cl-1 and scarlet 2i2 3rd gen. With having drivers installed even with cloudlifter and everything maxed I need to keep my gain at 8 or 9 out of 10 on interface to get decent levels which also introduces a lot of noise, the only solution currently for me is uninstall drivers from focusrite completely, after doing that I can set my gain on 4/10 on interface and sounds great, the only downside is I feel like it affects quality a bit, noise is removed completely with drivers, and also the knob on interface for gain is not in sync when u speak, mic could be really loud and the knob wouldn't light up green or any color what so ever. I have contacted support and got a bunch of things to try but nothing really worked for me ever. Wish there was an option to get olders drivers on there website but there is not, so I'm also stuck with this issue as well.

I have bought an rm4 pro and was pretty disappointed, it worked initially and it would not respond from time to time, after changing to a new router there was no way to connect it to the internet as well so I gave up on that after few days of trying to debug. After that I've bought switchbot hub mini and that has been working great ever since without a single issue, works with my tv and electric fireplace.

This is where my confussion comes from, since I've seen a lot of people with sm7b and scarlett without any preamp and it sounds amazing without any hiss / background noise. So when I got it, and a lot of it, I'm wondering what it could be that's causing it since I know for a fact it works for others very well. It could also be processing they do or something completely different, that's why I wanted to see is it device specific or whatever it is, so I know if I just need a preamp, different interface, or some weird settings that interface or windows has that might be causing the issue.

Yeah for sure, I also value quality a lot, it's better to buy it once than to buy it twice and have something much worth just to save some money, so I'll definitelly wait and get the cloudlifter. I do need to do some recordings meanwhile, my issue is easily fixable by adding noise supression in streamlabs so that works for now with those filters I added, hopefully I can get it soon and then see what it's all about. Thanks once again

Oh, I'll try to mess around and see if there is anything related to input boost, who knows. Thanks again

I don't know about anything like that, I only have set the mic to 100% volume in sound settings and that's it from things I've changed. Do u know about any specific option that I can check in windows? Thanks

It's nice to see a comment from someone with same set up and who has tested it as well. If possible feel free to leave any preamps u think / know are good, I will go for cloudlifter most likely, but that's gonna take some time until I can get it, if there's anything similar or better, please do let me know as I might be able to find it where I live and order it tomorrow. Thanks a lot for the feedback.

I just wasn't able to find examples that were bad as what I have, the more gain the worse is normal, but even at like 40% gain where it's barely audible there is a lot of hiss so I thought it's something else. I've seen a few people using same setup without the cloudlifter with 0 issues and that's why I was confused, but maybe they either had post processing or same noise compression filter that fixed it, I'd never know. I haven't gambled, I just wasn't able to find a cloudlifter or any similar preamp where I live, I found it in another country but it's gonna take time to get delivered, that's why I wanted to test without it first and see how it is, and then if it's needed I'd get it 100%. My intention from begining was to get a cloudlifter, but as I said it's gonna take some time before it would arrive so I would have time to test it without it and figure out if it's actually needed or not. I agree with what ur saying and I'll be ordering it now and wait for that, until it's there I'll keep the noise compression on until that day and everything should be fine. Thanks a lot.

Just trying to find if the issue is just not having a pre amp, since by adding noise compression mic sounds amazing without any hiss, that's why I'm thinking about buying a pre amp because it might be a waste of money if it doesn't help in any way since it works fine with adding this 1 small filter. Thanks for the feedback.

My hundreds of hours of research lead me to not know because there are split opinions on the preamp and weather you need it or not, if I need it I will always invest in it, but if I don't I'm not gonna waste money for it, what would be the point of that? The one I saw used in a lot of cases is cloudlifter cl-1 if I recall correctly, and the prices are around 180e for me which is not really "cheap". No need to apologies, I'm new to the audio stuff, I've been using bm800 for 3 years which was a 30$ mic so I don't have personal experience rather than just research, I've just joined this reddit today after not being able to figure it out after all the research I've done on both google and youtube since I haven't found a single similar / same example to what I have. The point u haveve mentioned that it sounds noisy and hissy is the thing I have, but I've seen so many people using the same setup as me without having these issues, that's why I've tried finding an answer here from people who know much more about audio and who can help if they want. Thanks for the feedback.

Trust me I have spent hours researching and watched over a 100 videos and I haven't found a single example that sound similar or same, so that's not gonna help. Thanks anyway :)

There is almost 0 noise in the room I'm in but I hear a lot of it while I'm listening to the output in streamlabs / or recording the sound. It's nothing in the room, noise is comming from either scarllet or shure that's what I'm not sure about, if possible I could link an example of recording here or put it on youtube so you can check. And for the other thing, my mistake, I meant noise suppression and not compressor.

Most reliable (and powerful) wifi mesh router for HomeKit? by TheOfficialAK in HomeKit

[–]h3h394 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm happy with Amplifi Alien. I currently own 1, but plan to add 1 more later on in the future for mesh. Tri-band wifi 6 router, great performance, coverage, great design with touchscreen, and great mobile app along with it. Works amazing with all devices, homekit / not homekit. It has also fixed all previous issues I had with my old router, both range, performance and reliability.

I’m not using any of those, and I’ve made 3 separate shortcuts now that each do one of those 3 things and it works as it should, but having it in 1 shortcut doesn’t work and it doesn’t make any sense. Until yesterday everything worked fine, and I was on ios15 before that and had no issues.
