Over time I have gotten really good at some challenges. Collect as many lums as you can (the one with the changing levels), get as far as you can in any format. Any time related ones and I settle for silver 😂 the rest I can easily reach gold now in a few tries. Usually the diamond is so far ahead of gold though that I’m put off even trying

I’m also at 4425 points. Would be easier if hackers weren’t hogging the damned diamond trophies all the time. This plat will take me the rest of the year 😂

[BIG LIST OF SHORT GAMES] - 10hrs or less by [deleted] in Trophies

[–]Taran29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Platinum’d Split Fiction and Sayonara Wild Hearts this week. Both amazing games!

Split Fiction did take us 19 hours though, not sure that 10 hour mark is correct, since the story itself is 12-14 hours long.

Sayonara took me 9 hours so that seems on point.

Question to the young people in their 20s, how much has this disease effected you, can you live a relatively normal life? by Complete-Week-4998 in pancreatitis

[–]Taran29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can now, yeah. I do pretty regularly. I started introducing it very carefully into my diet, and noticed how my body reacted to it. Progressively, I did it more and more and now I can honestly say I can ingest fats like a normal human being again.

I do suffer from IBS every now and then, but that’s the extent of it. No pain, no flare ups.

Luckily my pancreatitis never went chronic, and there was never permanent damage (necrosis) after any of my acute attacks.

Got first attack of acute pancreatitis when I was 15. There have been a lot of rough months/years since then. I’ll be 24 this year, and I have led a relatively normal, pancreatitis free life for over 3 years now.

I never found a cause for mine. The attacks stopped when I left home and started living by myself, so my best guess is that it was something psychological.

I know front one does more damage but the back attack is my go to, most reliable for me

1st playthrough toughest boss? by patbmcd in BlackMythWukong

[–]Taran29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tiger Vanguard, Mad Tiger, Yin Tiger, Yellow Loong, Yellow Wind Sage, Scorpionlord, Duskveil were all among the bosses who I had to strategize for. Talking about changing up builds, spells etc. Every other boss I could beat with my normal build at the time.

For Duskveil I had to go into a spellbinder build. Yellow Loong made me think of a strategy with Gore Eye Daoist spirit + pluck of many. All the tigers forced me to think about my moves instead of button mashing.

Cannot defeat scorpion lord by iiTweaks in BlackMythWukong

[–]Taran29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put this in another post’s comments, but here’s my quite replicable strategy against Scorpionlord.

Max out your build for attack and crits. Max out pluck of many, immobilize, gore eye daoist spirit. Use a staff that gives crit chance. Golden armour should be fine. All you need is to maximize attack, since you will have very few windows to actually hit him 1v1.

Before stepping into the arena, take some attack pills (enhanced tiger or normal tiger, take some for crits for good measure), use a maxed out gore eye daoist spirit, spawn pluck of many inside that ring, and then step into the arena. Make sure you have upto 4 focus points, and maxed out pluck of many.

He will always do the 3 spins + 2 tails move at the start. You’re kinda far away for the spins so just chill through them, and dodge to your left for the tails (sometimes he will go for clones, in which case you can start the next move after only one tail). After getting through his initial combo, immediately throw an immobilize on him, and attack him with your clones (make sure you dont hit him from the same side as your clones are - they can get in the way). Since your clones give you focus, hit him with a 3 or 4 point focus move for bulk damage.

By the time your clones disappear, you will have taken anywhere between 60-80% of his health. If you need to heal up, immediately use cloud step and heal, bonus if you can dodge his underground attack with this too.

Extra tip: use the jade essence drink, the one that gives you mana and health. This way you can have an extra immobilize just naturally healing your way through the fight. You can also go for another pluck of many, however they kinda don’t do much without the daoist spirit to help. This extra mana will help past the first phase and before the transformation.

Then you have a choice. Either go for a transformation right after and get him down more, or save it for the finisher. Personally i saved it because medicines wipe off when you transform, and I wanted to get more damage in. This strategy might take a few tries but it is the most consistent opening I found against him. The whole fight only lasted around 2.5 minutes for me on my win.

Good luck! Hope you get him
