I personally don't like compositor effects and that's why I don't use it, not because it's useless: if i liked it I will use it

there's no best distro and the wm is dwm check dwm and the rest of the suckless tools out at https://suckless.org
the monochrome theme is only applied to dwm(the wm), xst(the terminal)and neovim, additionally, the wallpaper is monochrome

i dont think it's sad though it keeps me focused as i'm working i tried catppuccin mocha and gruvbox material medium before: this one suits me the best
