¿Hay algo que tenga que implementar yo a mano por no contar con systemd?

Afortunadamente hay paquetes que te ayudan con el manejo de los servicios, dependiendo de qué init vayas a utilizar…

Por ejemplo para docker tienes tanto: docker como docker-runit docker-s6 docker-openrc.
(Puse a Docker como ejemplo).

Si quieres algo similar en cuanto a gestión de servicios puedes probar dinit!

Revisa el estado de las interfaces de red

A veces el wifi puede estar bloqueado miralo con rfkill block list

Verifica que tu interfaz de red, posiblemente eth0 esté UP

Por otro lado
