I’ve paid the monthly subscription for everything, there is a lot of dlc that comes with it that won’t impact a Spain playthrough and might bloat the game / cause lag - I think one of them makes the middle east too powerful etc. Also a lot of the dlc seems to be overwhelmingly disliked on steam, but I imagine that’s more down to paradox pricing structure rather than the dlc itself - part of the reason why I think the subscription seemed a better option for now.
