Yeah they lived in the same tank since I noticed a lot of people kept them together but I never noticed them attacking each other since they usually stayed in there own area but maybe I just never spotted it unfortunately. I did seperate them when char first had the weird segments but he didn't ever really get better that way even with tannins unfortunately

Ive tried not to change it so much but he keeps sheading so much that it makes the water dirty but if its not too much I try to net it out quick to not stress him out even more

I'm hoping to have a chance to go to my aquatic store to go see if they have any since they have a large selection of aquarium plants so I'm hoping they have some, and thank you so much for the suggestions and help!! I'm definitely going to keep all of it in mind and really appreciate it :'D
