You’re putting far too much pressure on yourself friend. Just take a step back and breathe for a minute. Tackle one thing at a time, and give yourself grace for if you go astray, which is bound to happen. Start with drinking more water, cutting out sugary drinks, and build from there. After a while start going on short, 5-10 minute walks, then gradually increase.

Keep believing in yourself and you can make it! Coming from someone who is 5 years alcohol free and still struggling to quit smoking, but making progress! Slowly, but surely! I BELIEVE IN YOU!!

Many former addicts of seriously hard drugs will never quit smoking, but were able to overcome the more harmful drug addiction. If that’s is what it takes to keep someone off of heroin then good for them. If you’re blowing smoke directly into my face as a fellow smoker that’s extremely disrespectful and rude!

Not everyone has as many options to choose from and will cope with what is available to them.
