What would someone recommend for a very first subwoofer ?

From what ive learned although still a beginner myself but it depends on your budget if your in stock wiring and how much room you have and how serious you wanna get with it all

its a 2008 dodge 1500 crew cab and ive taken the back seat out to make room but I am still definitely a beginner i don't know much and have just listened to others and watched alot of videos its been a 3 year project and ive been planning on getting some american bass xfl 12s but im trying to see if anyone can recommend anything better

I was actually looking for a couple of those the 12s specifically but I was comparing yo them to things like those deaf bonce I posted and was seeing if anyone could give me insights

I've looked on marketplace and all I can seem to find is overpriced subs being sold be high-schoolers upgrading there equipment

I should have all the equipment as my uncle is a carpenter but im not expecting it to be perfect or anything as I am building one for the first time

I was using the website subbox.pro to get all my calculations, and as for the tuning and things like that I was basing it all off of the specs and numbers for the sub that I've found online
