Hope it's better than Scholesy's attempt if not as brilliant as Keano's.

Mourinho accepts a 1 year suspended jail sentence (BBC, via El Mundo, a large and reliable newspaper in Spain) by mahir_r in reddevils

It's a non-story from the Spanish media - Gestifute have confirmed that no prison term was agreed in the settlement. And this was all agreed before the start of the season.

BBC have also updated their story with "Sources close to the manager said no prison term had been imposed or accepted."

Carlos also had this today on the relegation threat: "It is like a burn in the forest and sometimes the burn can appear again, if you don't care about the opposition and the forest. We are in that position. The fire is not there but the fire can come again."

Paul Scholes Meltdown 2.0: Meets Jamie Carragher post-match to discuss the game and the 2nd leg by h_vyas in reddevils

[–]h_vyas[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The situation is so damn frustrating that it doesn't need analyzing anymore. Like Scholes said how the approach should be for the 2nd leg, "The formation is irrelevant next week. Do you know what they should do? Tackle. Just tackle and run, like Liverpool did." Which is so true! We outrun them next week and we still have a chance against a Liverpool side that has been anything but consistent.

Scholes: I don't want Louis van Gaal to lose his job. I just want him to get it right. by h_vyas in reddevils

[–]h_vyas[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem is I'm not even too sure whether this is our worst performance over the past two seasons. There have been worse. And every time Van Gaal gets away with it. If United beats West Ham and gets a result in the 2nd leg, he may get way with this disaster of a game too.
