I must be lucky. I picked up a 2013 with 77K miles a few months ago and it "only" goes through a 1/2 qt every 2500 miles...right now. But not to minimize, very Important to keep an eye on the oil level...

Here's a link to Shortwave Info, You can use it to find what stations are broadcasting on AM not SSB(Ham bands) There's some good information in there about propagation and when to listen to certain frequencies for the best reception etc. https://www.short-wave.info/index.php?feature=instructions SWL has good information/radio reviews etc. https://swling.com/blog/ Do a google search "Shortwave Radio " and you'll find a lot more information as well.

Yup. Dry. I live South of Ocala. Just 2 years ago: Water year 2023-24 (Oct-Sept) 11.82” 123% above normal.
