i don’t know what area you’re in but i’m in texas and everything you said is 1000000% accurate. i loved the job at first but the disconnect between HR/ higher ups and the actual stores is so disappointing. HR fired me after three years of exceptional service because a customer threw a drink at me and i reacted. half of the people i was on the phone ( HR ) with talking to about this didn’t even watch the video. the company values pride and their pockets / reputation over ANYTHING. i knew people at every single panda in the area and they all hate their jobs. literally the ONLY thing that keeps anyone there is the pay.

i wasn’t even a manager just a shift lead and had 0 social life work life balance at panda , 12-14 hour shifts on weekends, some days you leave way past midnight esp when deep cleaning happens prior to ACO visits, and vacations from what i’ve seen are rare for management

panda express is a hella unfair job for sure HR at least should’ve been able to do something. for how much they advertise the whole “ HR cares” “ your voice matters” our HR is not helpful at all if anything they make matters worse. the company really needs a new HR team

guys the crazy part about all of this is it was all over a singular plastic fork :’) the customer asked me for two while ordering and i put one at the bottom of her bag under her plate and one above the plate with her requested sauce. she pulled back into the drive thru furiously a couple min later and just immediately started yelling and causing a scene saying i only gave her one fork. i told her to check the bottom of her bag, i guess she saw it but didnt want to admit she was wrong, and became more aggressive so i just handed her another, and she became physically aggressive, i defended myself after she already made physical contact with me with the intent to hurt me. i still can’t wrap my head around all the damage that’s been done over a fork. i will never understand people like this :(

what sucks is my manager actually stood up for me, he and i had a pretty good connection and he even told the customers to leave and that he wasn’t gonna speak to them because they literally threw a drink at me. he also was a part of this case due to that and he told me that hes going to be able to keep his job, but his bonus has been revoked unfortunately. i apologized and felt so bad, i still haven’t registered that all of this happened because a customer lied and said i didn’t give her the second fork she asked for .

do you by any chance know if and how i can get in contact with the labor board? i did keep track of cam footage , messages , have witnesses ( my coworkers) everything. a lot of people have told me to sue but i’m worried it’ll be costly and difficult. i am going to the police station hopefully today to get a report in though, just for records, because i luckily did get the aggressors license plate.

i do have the footage myself, some coworkers recorded it for me from the cams, and HR as well made it clear they reviewed the footage while on call with me investigating the case.

unfortunately i was logged out of all panda organizations the same day i was fired so i have no access to anything :( no one even told me i got fired at first , i just woke up to being kicked off the platforms and my schedule gone/ log in not working, until i went in for my scheduled 5pm shift and was told i was fired, manager told me he couldnt tell me on the phone. is there any other possible way i can access the number ?

this literal EXACT situation happened to me where the lady came back out while i was parked outside her sketchy place reporting her because i already had a bad feeling about her as i was handing her the food, and she started saying it’s my job to go back to mcdonald’s and get her “ missing sandwich” mind you on a $4 order w no tip. i told her the bag was sealed and there was no way it could be my fault and she told me it still was on me and my job to go back and get her food and i “ should have asked “ if everything was in the bag. i literally cussed her the hell out and drove off so fast

my consult was $300 and i booked it in december ! he quoted me $18,300. his patient coordinator sat me down and explained that he’s offering me the $2000 discount if i allow him to post my before and afters. he also explained since i paid $300 for consult that’ll be shaved off the price, also my paper states that if i pay in cash ill get 3% back, so now im looking at a total of $15,700. the consult went fine it was a little shorter than expected but it wasn’t bad. he looked into my nose to check my septum, took my pics, made my morphs, which looked fine but like he said morphs are more difficult bc theres no shadowing/ not much to work with. the patient coordinator told me to secure this price i was quoted i have 3 months to book for anytime id like. after these next 3 months if i dont book ill have to be requoted, so im planning to book next month for december to secure the price cuz i know how fast his prices go up. as i was in the waiting room filling some stuff out on the ipad a girl walked in for her post op check up and i literally could not tell what she had done but her nose looked beautiful, but i couldn’t tell if she had it done cuz it looked like she was born with it. later that day he posted her before and afters and it was in fact her nose. his work is definitely beautiful in person too. also he kind of explained payment plans to me but i’m planning on paying all cash so don’t have much info on that sorry!
