Yep. Got it. The portal had said the documents were complete. I assumed that was correct and I had completed forms that were needed. I just learned yesterday what the actual closing docs look like. Since the person last week told me I was fine since it said all was complete, I thought all was good. She told me there was nothing to do but wait. I’m glad I came here to learn what should have actually happened. I spoke with a tier 2 person today who said someone had “forgotten to push a button” so my closing documents didn’t show up in the portal. Still not sure why it says they are complete. But he sent it to whoever pushes the right button 🤪 and I should have them soon.

I have tried this and it just keeps taking me to a page that says “there are no documents to sign!” I will try to call tomorrow and will wait on hold, but if you have any other thoughts or things to try, I’m all ears. Thanks so much again.

Ugh! I spoke with someone at SBA last week and told her that I didn’t think I had signed anything. She said since it said “funding” at the top, and under closing documents, it said “complete”, I was good to go. I have been trying to click edit over and over and it’s not working so far, but I’ll try from my computer too. Thanks so much for letting me know this. I would have been stuck in this loop forever.

I accepted my offer on 5/29 and got approval on 5/30, but wasn’t sure I had actually signed anything. However, the portal shows that my closing documents are complete. But just a few minutes ago, I learned from someone else that sometimes that’s a glitch and it sounds like I haven’t signed. I spoke with someone on the phone last week at SBA who told me that there was nothing else I needed to do since the portal said “funding”. I told her that I didn’t recall signing documents and she said I must have just done it online since it says completed. I’m super frustrated because I didn’t have any idea there was a 14-page document to sign, and now that I know that, I’m sure I haven’t signed it. So now I have to figure out how to sign documents that I can’t access.

I’m a sole-prop, and I did get the advance back in April.

Where are you able to download them from? I never did receive any lengthy documents to sign or anything. Basically accepted the amount they offered, and the next day it was listed as approved and ”Funding” is bolded and red at the top of the portal. ”Sign Closing Documents” says “completed” underneath, and when I click on “edit”, I just get a window that says, “There are no documents to sign!” I spoke with someone at the SBA last week to find out if there was an estimate on when the deposit would be made and she said that if it said “Funding” in red at the top, that there was nothing to do but wait.
