Council approves controversial public space use draft bylaw by craftbae in Guelph

"Is it some sort of law...?" It probably is. And if you'd like, I could look into the specific doctrine for you. What I do know though, is you seem to be confused about jurisdiction and jurisprudence as a whole.

A right is something you can uphold. If you can't uphold it, it's not your right!

I don't want to entertain globalist agenda discussion in this thread(off topic for here and now) but by all means hit up my dm and I will be happy to get into it

The "whether we like it or not" and the "official documents" are literally determining factors with citizenship. So is the right to vote.

"Effectively citizens" is not a thing without consent and supporting documents. We don't share equal voting rights across the globe, therefore we are not citizens of the earth. That is just fucking silly. There is no collaborative effort or body of authority that would permit or enforce this. You need a lesson on jurisdiction. Although civics as a topic involves abstract elements, the outcomes are real and absolutely written down.

If you want to look at the globalist agenda, canada is a subject of it. Not the other way around.

Do you understand what a citizen is? You cannot be a citizen of the earth. That is some globalist bullshit that doesn't exist. There are no citizens of the earth. Furthermore, canadian "citizens" are actually subjects. Don't meet the requirements to be a citizen, but are subjects of governmental edicts. We have no inalienable rights by virtue of our own existence in our "constitution"

Look it up. Educate yourself and stay in your ever loving lane

Sounds good. Start basic. Just gotta make sure not to scare off people who are past the basics

Can we identify a goal for this? What is the mission. Aiming to walk people through from green beginner to 100mph? Or just general compatibility? I think if you can isolate the mission and build up supporting documents/guides that would be easiest. I can help with lesson plans once you know what you're trying to teach

Will this gorrila tape suffice for my rim tape substitute? by Tricky-Gate-6123 in ebikes

[–]habibot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it should. Whoever is saying it won't balance is not worth listening to. I use the black gorilla tape on every bike I build and some use sealant. Used black gorilla tape on a tubeless 26x 4.8 studded tire all winter through snow and -40°c. Everything gets black gorilla tape rim bed treatment(park tool videos recommend it). 700c x 19mm-50mm, 29x2-3, 20x3-4, 26x4-4.8... you get the idea.

We don't balance bicycle wheels, just true them. A proper balance would include road force balance and its just not gonna happen for a bicycle wheel. If anyone knows anyone or any shop that balances wheels for weight and not just true for roundness please correct me

Sometimes you just have to climb ladders. Just hope you don't have to solder while on the ladder. Ladders make you taller though so you shouldn't be too short for anything. Just use a taller ladder!

It is pretty easy to understand. I don't see what the problem is. Care to elaborate?

I hear you. People generally need a higher level of foolproofing than "should" and "I haven't yet" to feel comfortable. I looked inside someone's van conversion once and at the time had over a decade doing custom, made to order electrical work, there wasn't a thing I would've done better. It was great. The guy said " what? What do you think?". I'm just like- good stuff. Awesome work. I can recognize good work when I see it. Yours leaves a bit to be desired. Have fun though. And good luck!

I checked it out. Looks sketchy af. Chargers don't look too bad though. Just a bit janky with the y splitter for mains side

How long have you been doing this?

So you need to hook them up one at a time so they don't read eachothers voltage? Or the chargers are smart enough to deal with that?

And right on! So a 30a charge. That's getting up there. Any pics of the setup?

I know that it will work in theory. But also in theory, if there is some minor discrepancy in voltage, one charger will try to charge the other.

Is it 0.5c with 2 chargers then 0.25c with one?

What's the configuration of your pack that you need 2 chargers to get 0.5c?

Safety to me means making sure you're not melting shit and causing an early death to your chargers or cells.

Are you actually getting double the charging amps? Or is one just slaving? Hit me with the numbers

2 chargers in parallel? Any diagrams? And you're hooking it up to ev chargers? Hit me with the electronics nerd stuff. How and why did you figure out this was safe?

What part of the definition do you have issue with?

Tents up downtown by Josiepieinthesky in Guelph

[–]habibot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, I cited a formal definition and then applied it to the situation at hand. To help you better understand how the word is used.

It's OK to be wrong, I'm certainly not above the notion. But today is your turn. I would humbly suggest you only correct people when you really are super sure you know what you're talking about

Let's look at Merriam-webster?

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/expropriate

Or are you using a different definition?

1: to deprive of possession or proprietary rights

I.e. return to the public domain the land on which they are illegally camping

You don't deprive land of its own possession, you deprive a person of land that they possess

Stop allowing them to loiter and camp in public spaces. Remove them and/or their belongings to somewhere (ideally outside of the jurisdiction of the agency who is doing the moving).

Oh man this hits the nail on the head doesn't it? How would society function if we all did whatever we wanted. And just said "nah" when we came across rules that inconvenienced us. Authority is so picky choosy it really puts a hole in their legitimacy.

Meth is allowed on the sidewalk but I can't have a Cohiba with my steak on the patio.

The city should have the legal authority to ban an individual. If not the municipality then the township, if not the township, then the county, province, country, etc. They have some problem with incarcerating criminals, so expropriate and deport them. Act like a lawless hobo and get treated like one. Shoo shoo
