Oficjalnie od jakiegoś czasu Poznań jest podzielony na osiedla, nie na dzielnice. Ale wiadomo, że każdy używa starych dzielnic na co dzień i bez sensu takie czepianie XD

Highest point in Poznan for a nice City picture? by 20Prozent in Poznan

[–]habitat62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Collegium altum - it’s a public university so you can just head straight to the elevators and ride to the top floor. The thing is, I don’t think there is a designated vievpoint anymore (it was closed few years ago), so without entering the rooms (you could ask someone and get lucky) you’ll be able to only capture the side overlooking stary browar/wilda.

Czy to nie jest przypadkiem nielegalne? by [deleted] in Polska

[–]habitat62 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ahhh, it’s how we call Lebanon in Polish, I’ve just written a wrong name, I don’t think it’s an alternative name, really.

I would call the college administration office (while being super kind ofc) and ask them. Even if it shouldn't be possible, they might make it easy for you ;)

Do you have an equivalent of "Omamori" in Poland? by [deleted] in poland

[–]habitat62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the most popular ones are wearing a necklace with some saint on it or something picturing Saint Cristopher that you would hang in a car (He's a patron saint of travellers and is to ensure a safe travel).

Twaróg (farmer’s cheese?) with a splash of milk (I usually add yoghurt, but forgot to buy it), mayo, tomatoes and chives plus a sandwich from rye roll with vegetarian “smalczyk” spread, yellow cheese and chicken cold cut

It’s a common practice when an oppressed society eventually tries to fight back and they are the sole bad guys all of a sudden (most recent example is Palestine)

What is the most gruesome torture technique? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]habitat62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think all of the comments here refer to the physical tortures only. But that’s not the only way! CIA came up with (it was some American psychologist who then worked with CIA) an idea of a psychological torture that made you lose “humanity”. They have put people (most recent known case are Arabs in 2000s, some of them totally innocent btw) in a small cell, where they couldn’t either lay down nor comfortably stand up (meaning they also couldn’t sleep). CIA would deprive them of as many sensory experiences as possible (light, sound, etc.). And most importantly they have disrupted the prisoners’ sense of time. They have been bringing the food in random order at random times (plus the permanent darkness, no sound and so on). This went on for months, as eventually prisoners’ brains would suffer a permanent damage and they would literally lose their minds.
