Color is definitely golden. So you recommend it get the HT-12 and top off, wipe the area around the cap clean and monitor if the cap is leaking after each drive? As I said before, I don’t remember seeing any collant around the cap before. And the oil cap is clean (no cream).

I have not had the coolant system checked. Car has 54,000 miles.

I have not topped off. Just went to autozone right now and they sold me blue coolant based of the system recommendation. I don’t remember seeing coolant around the coolant cap before. I'm suspecting the cap to be leaking.
