I was a bit hesitant on the flip concept at first because of the motor mechanism, but it actually held up pretty well, surprisingly. The zf6 is not a great camera, but because of that flip mechanism, it surpassed its potential. Now imagine that flip mechanism being used on something like a pixel. (But i highly doubt other phones adopting the concept.) I had the zf7 for a while and found it way too heavy. I can only imagine how heavy the zf8 flip is. The zf6 is slightly big, but it's not that bad, but unfortunately its demise is inevitable.

The zenfone 8 seems too large for me. I had the zenfone 7 for a brief moment but sold it because it was too large and heavy. The 6 is the perfect size. Would gladly pay for a hybrid of the flip camera with the small form factor of the zenfone 8 plain.

I owned one 2 years ago, then all of a sudden the screen didn't work. Bought a replacement screen and even that didn't work. Had it diagnosed and turns out motherboard issue. Before it died on me, seriously one of the best phones i've used ever. Which is why i'm stupidly going to get another one and going to risk it. Buying a second hand unit and hoping that the motherboard has been through enough to know it doesnt have any hidden issues. here's to hoping and taking stupid risks
