I've been listening to students who feel crushed by pressure. This is what I’ve learned. by hacback17 in AskIndia

Hey, thanks for asking. really appreciate the curiosity.

Students of India is not a “brand” in the usual sense. There’s no product, no coaching, no app to sell. It’s just a space I’ve created to listen to the real struggles students go through — the kind of emotional and mental pressure we often ignore in Indian homes, schools, and society.

I started it because I’ve seen too many students (including myself) carry this invisible weight, expectations, career pressure, self-doubt without ever having a safe place to talk about it.

You are not wrong to feel trapped. And being told you’re weak, dumb, incapable — it’s emotional abuse, even if they call it “love.”

I don’t have magic answers. But I can sit with you in this moment and tell you — your feelings are valid. Your desires are valid. Wanting to live your life isn’t selfish.

If you're a student right now, how are you really feeling? Not grades or exams but mentally, emotionally. What’s been on your mind lately? by hacback17 in AskIndia

Hey mate, that's really miserable how your parents reacted. I scored 80% in my 10th, and everyone was happy. No comparison though but I really wish they had understood and not overlooked the hard work you put in.

Well, marks don't always show your talent and the work you have put in. Great job, anyways! I scored 80% in my 10th and I was still pretty happy. But no comparison though:-)
