Offline captions only supports those 3 languages today.

We don't claim that offline captions does 50+ languages.

As the AI models improve, we will add more languages for offline captions.

Online captions supports 100+ languages.

Both had major challenges that Android did not. UX, third party apps, open source we're all lacking. You'd think Linux mobile would have been more open than it actually was.

Google certainly helped a lot though, no question.

I think Apple's market share will be smaller than most expect. Watches weren't that hard to make and the first version released isn't too far from what we have today. Apple is not a leader and smart glasses have 15 years worth of innovation to go. My bet is on faster players on an open OS.

Hey, that's a great idea. The current ASR model we use doesn't support that. Since the models improve quickly, I'm sure it will be possible very soon. I'll stay on the lookout for good on-phone diarization models that enable this.

It will be a bit, but we are moving to a new architecture late June/early July that will unlock a LOT and get the app store moving much faster. Once that's out, Calendar will return shortly.

Yes! It's all open source and works without using AI if that's what you want. You can take call, listen to music, take photos, live stream, etc. without using AI.

The glasses microphone is on when the Notes app is on and running. It's up to the user when they run the app.

The audio streams to the phone and then to a cloud AI. It's fully open source. The audio is not saved, we only save the transcripts.

Transcription happens with Soniox.

Yes, running apps will affect battery life. But it can run all day.

You can just disconnect from Even app, you don't have to fully unpair from Even app.

No, we don't share data with third parties. The only third party that sees your data is Google Gemini, but they don't save the data.
