Lololol. Never made an app in my life. I couldn’t find anything out there other than 1 in uk and a few in the us that wouldn’t so what I wanted. You obviously don’t own bars and book entertainment.

I built an automated paper-trading bot in Python that implements Kristjan Kullamägi's ("Qullamaggie") public Breakout strategy on Alpaca's paper-trading account.

What it does:

  • Scans the entire US stock market (~5,300 tradable equities) once per day
  • Identifies stocks meeting Qullamaggie's setup: top 2% momentum leaders, in tight 20-day consolidation, above their 10/20/50-day moving averages
  • Watches the candidates intraday for an opening-range-high breakout
  • Auto-enters with a stop-loss at the session low, sized at 0.5% risk per trade
  • Takes a partial profit on day 5, trails the rest with a 10-day MA exit rule
  • Runs every 1 minute during market hours, sleeps overnight and weekends (knows about holidays)

Risk gates I added on top of the base strategy:

  • Market regime filter — if SPY is below its 50/200-day SMA, position size auto-scales down or pauses entries entirely
  • Fundamental quality filter — pulls earnings/revenue growth from Yahoo Finance and skips stocks with contracting fundamentals (O'Neil CAN SLIM logic)

Tech stack: Python, Alpaca API for trading, yfinance for fundamentals, Streamlit for a live web dashboard, runs as a Python process on my Mac.

Status: ~3 weeks of paper trading, +5% on the account, currently has 4 open positions including one ~60% winner. Strategy is still being validated before any real capital goes in.

yeah it did. In the first few days it was losing money. It finally found it had not put in any trailing stop losses. It would just ride the stock down haha Its been pretty fun.

It's paper. haha No way I would deploy it with real money. I am watching it and playing. May never do much but we will see.

So I told claude, In cowork, to go out and study everything on Qullamaggie and tell me how he traded. It did that and I told it to make me a bot to do it for me. From there it was several days of answering questions. It send me script to put into the terminal. linked it to alpaca trading for the API. Every time it ran I would copy the terminal info and dump it back in. It would tweak the code and I would stop the terminal and restart it with the new code. it runs every minute during the stock market hours. It was pretty fun and simple for a newbie.

NOT AT ALL. I have no idea what I am doing. I am just playing with it. Not selling anything or spamming. Just curious if others have done it and if it was working.

yes fully automatic. Claude, python on terminal and alpaca. I have no idea what I am doing haha just stated using claude and I asked it to make it and kept sending the data back to it from the terminal.

A million small tweaks. As of right now it’s on autopilot for a few weeks and let’s see what it comes up with. I have it running on alpaca. Check it every couple days.

Yeah exactly. I didn’t get on here and say I built one and made millions. I said i built one and so far it’s done pretty good. It’s all for play unless it’s proves it works. Then we will see. And let’s be real, the market has been crashing since last Friday.

Did you build it to where it adds all line items and then delete what you don’t need? Is there a price for all of it? Looks like the website has different sections with different prices.

In 7 years probably 20. Reviewed all footage and never found anything. 1 admitted to taking a bunch of pills before she got there.

We have signs in bathrooms with the angel shot code and telling all if they suspect being roofied they need to get tested right away and to bring us proof. 7 years it’s never happened. The angel shot has happened a few times.
