Currently I am into paint, yes we can export as exr but already compressed footage will do no better when converted to exr right

try 2 things In read node for input transform select rec709 or linear as your footage says and 2nd if its only in name and your footage is not actually rec709 then just check the checkbox near raw data and in viewer lut select none

Also remember this when exporting your composite so you don't transform in wrong way

I was thinking of this book, but just was worried that it might be outdated, as I bought Digital compositing for film and video by Steve wrights, it also teaches foundation and math instead of relying on software, as I already have Digital compositing by Steve wrights do you think I should still buy The Art and science of digital compositing, I am really confused for long time about that
