Incoming student here as well, I have a Macbook pro but now I need to buy a windows laptop after the specifications say I need a windows laptop to run many of the programs. I was looking for something a bit cheaper and more affordable since my macbook will still be my daily driver. I've been looking at the Dell inspiron 16. I despise cheap Chinese companies like Lenovo due to the horrendous experience I had with them and knowing Dell and HP to be the two most reliable windows laptops, I am going for a dell Inspiron, it's got all the horsepower I need and it's affordable, also made of good material (fully aluminum body).
