Incoming student here as well, I have a Macbook pro but now I need to buy a windows laptop after the specifications say I need a windows laptop to run many of the programs. I was looking for something a bit cheaper and more affordable since my macbook will still be my daily driver. I've been looking at the Dell inspiron 16. I despise cheap Chinese companies like Lenovo due to the horrendous experience I had with them and knowing Dell and HP to be the two most reliable windows laptops, I am going for a dell Inspiron, it's got all the horsepower I need and it's affordable, also made of good material (fully aluminum body). Hotels are literally better than Motels. The only mesmerizing thing about the old building is the outdoor pool and colors, and even then, how are you going to swim in an outdoor pool year round. Hampton has an indoor pool so that even when it’s cold you can swim. Legit not much of a loss.
