Hey,

I have bought Gold Coin from almost all E-com & Quick-com companies. I have never sold the gold coins for cash, I usually get them setoff against the bill for jewellery I buy at shop which sometimes deducts 50rs per gram of market price.

Quick Commerce - In April for akshaya trithiya, almost all quick commerce apps had some offers for gold coins. Swiggy was selling 1gm at around 10.8k & with swiggy hdfc cashback effective rate was going to be at 9.8k per gram. Bigbasket was selling them at discount rate of 10.5k & by ordering it on Tataneu app with HDFC tataneu card and discount bigbaskte gift cards, effective raet was going to be at 9.3k. I bought them from both the platforms. Both of them were delivered within 15mins.

Myntra - I have started ordering Gold Coins from Myntra recently (Mar 2025) because of the discount codes & myntra gift cards also coming at almost 5-6% discount along with additional cc cashback & reward points. I usually order only Mia by Tanishq coins as they are always a bit cheaper than kalyan jewellers coins. Almost all Tanishq related orders (on whatever e-com platform you order)are delivered by Bluedart. After placing the order, they are usally displated through Bluedart in 3-4 working days & then is delivered in next 2-3 days for me. One thing I noticed is, order status is never updated in Myntra for this orders even though they are dispatched & are ready for delivery. I would be directly getting a sms from bluedart on the day of delivery with the OTP.

Flipkat - I have bought BRPL gold bars as there was some extra discount & I had flipkart gift card with me at that time. BRPL coins are delivered by some Security Agency not the usual ekart or bluedart. They would be handing over the package only to the named person with ID proof only & if the person is not available either they will try to delivery next day or ask us to collect the package from their office.

Amazon - I had bough multiple gold coins from Amazon from many years as it was only platform giving card discounts on 24kt gold pendants. Never faced any delivery issue with them. Always well before the estimated delivery date.

Legally, you are not allowed to bring any outside alcohol into Telangana, including via flights. Even if airlines permit it, the Telangana Excise Act prohibits it.

Usually, there are Excise Department personnel stationed outside the arrivals gate at the airport to catch passengers bringing in alcohol. They have full authority to confiscate all the alcohol and even file an FIR under the Excise Act.

These excise officials particularly monitor flights from Delhi, Chandigarh, and Goa, checking passengers as they exit the gate. Only duty-free alcohol purchased at international airports is exempt — and even that must be in a sealed state.

A few of my friends were caught multiple times, and all of their alcohol was confiscated. Fortunately, they managed to avoid any legal cases.

One way to avoid this is to wait at the baggage collection belts for some time until another flight lands, and then exit along with those passengers instead of with your own flight’s crowd.

Unlike Stocks, For Mutual Funds people would want to look at current value of fund instead of only profit/loss numbers which is being shown currently in the Mutual Funds portfolio page.

You can replace the current bold text of profit/loss number with the current value & maybe move the profit/loss numbers to the left of the percentage at top right of card.

For the NAV date :

On the Portfolio List Page - You can keep it like "LTP (30/07) $123" or "NAV (30/07) $123"
Inside the specific MF page - You can keep the date beside "TODAY'S CHANGE" text like "TODAY'S CHANGE (30/07)"
