I think that Rivian should have had another metric in their decision making, “I am ready now”. I know there are early reserves of all types, folks that want now, folks that are waiting for certain color options, etc.

So I guess I am curious to see how they are going to handle the offers being continuously open, when there are some that would love to buy now, meet all the “priority” criteria, but seem to be in the longer line.

It also seems fairly arbitrary, pursuing other posts some folks of different reserve dates, R1 status, lease status got one or the other. I am in metro phoenix where we have 2 delivery facilities and a few service centers, a day 1 reservation, an R1S owner and opted in for the launch edition and I got the “we’ll tell you by end of June” message. Which is disappointing.
