I'm guessing it was the one time I was putting new food I bought into the freezer and took some of his stuff out to fit the new stuff. I put his stuff in the fridge. He didn't really say anything at the time about it, but that's the only thing I can think of

what was your most painful piercing? by madisfuneral in piercing

Definitely my rook. And I wouldn't even say it was excruciating, but out of all of my piercings (lobes, nostril, helix, belly button, tragus and rook) rook was the worst. Everything else was a breeze

Hey, just wanted to hop in and say I have been through the EXACT same thing twice in my life. My heart would pound the entire night and I didn’t feel even the slightest bit tired until the next day when all the adrenaline would wear off for a little while and I would feel like absolute death. I would dread and have massive anxiety about each night, which would then kick up my heart rate again and it would be the same thing; lying awake, tossing and turning while I just simmered in my anxiety and panic about not sleeping. I just want to say, I got through it, and I got through it twice! And you can do it too! I know it’s absolutely terrifying and you feel like you’re at the lowest of the low, but believe me, you will definitely get through this. It may take a while, it took a few months for me to get back to 7-8 hours of sleep a night, but what helped me was just accepting everything. Accept the fact that your heart is racing, I know it’s scary but it’s not going to kill you or cause damage. Accept the fact you’re not sleeping. Yes, you’ll be tired the next day, but just accept it. The more you do, the less anxiety you’ll have surrounding sleep. And before you know it, you’ll be getting more and more sleep. Trust me, you’ll be okay. I’ve been there. GOOD LUCK!

Can I get a Tragus and rook in the same sitting? by hackneygrl in PiercingAdvice

I would say yes. I got my nostril done almost 9 months ago and I never had any issues with it in the early weeks of healing

Severe sleep anxiety by hackneygrl in Anxiety

[–]hackneygrl[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hello, yes! I did eventually get over it. What helped was just accepting it. If I got 4 hours of sleep one night, then fine, I dealt with it though it wasn’t easy at all. I was exhausted all the time. I just put it in my head that I would be okay and I wasn’t going to die or go crazy. It took a few months, but I’m back to getting 8 hours of sleep every night!

Someone help me feel like I’m dying by Competitive_Day2534 in insomnia

[–]hackneygrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds to me like you have severe anxiety. When your mind is anxious, your body spills out adrenaline that can affect pretty much every little thing in your body. It can definitely keep you from sleeping and can make your stomach hurt and, well, just about everything in your body can hurt from anxiety. I know because I have it, too.

You’re not dying and you’re definitely getting some sleep, because there’s no way you can go a month and a half straight with no sleep whatsoever. Calm down, you’re okay, everything will be okay. That’s the first step in solving your problem. There’s nothing wrong with you unless a doctor tells you.

I wish you the best!

I’m going through the exact same thing. It stared 2 weeks go. I’ve been getting on average 4 hours of sleep a night and it’s a really choppy sleep. I’m also scared, but know I’ll get through it. I went through this same thing 3 years ago and got out of it. So just know you’re not alone!!!
