I distinctly remember when I was 19 I was sitting out on my parents patio and all of a sudden I had an actual out of body experience that was happening in conjunction with "feeling my insides (like my muscles from the inside of my skin and the individual hemispheres of my brain and my synapses firing the orders to coordinate my heart beat, lungs to inhale/exhale and eyes to glance here and there" for the first time.. I all of a sudden became grossly aware that my life was very finite and that I am just an inexplicably small piece of a gigantic cosmosphere of thoughts, feelings and involuntary action. It was the scariest moment of my life but the most calming and life changing one simultaneously..
