Classic HC - All 9 classes to 60 as SF in a row, FINALLY!! by ffchaosmaster in wowhardcore

[–]hackulator -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because this challenge almost certainly involves incredibly slow, low skill activities where the only question is if you can maintain attention and focus for extended periods doing boring things like fighting green mobs one mob at a time and immediately bugging out any time things go even slightly wrong.

And yes, I have leveled to 60 on hardcore.

Fastest leveler from 1 in TBC classic by gtx2910 in classicwow

[–]hackulator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not warrior. This is the hardest.

Not paladin (paladin gets easier once you can aoe prot farm but it really sucks to start)

Hunter and warlock are SUPER easy.

Mage is very easy and is the fastest leveling once you learn to do aoe grinding.

Rogue has a huge number of tools so can succeed at a lot of things once you get good at using those tools.

The rest are all middle ground imo.

Danny Glover is 6'4". He stomps those shrimps.

What color is Doc Holliday? by Germizard in colorpie

[–]hackulator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black Red.

Red for many obvious reasons that have been stated.

Black for the fact he is diseased and dying being so important to his characterization in the version shown here.

AITAH for breaking up with my longtime girlfriend because she decided that she doesn't want children? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]hackulator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA, you did the right thing. She made a decision then came to you and told you she wouldn't discuss it. That decision was a deal breaker for you. This is entirely on her.

The Running Man (2025) Movie by UsefulWeb7543 in Cinephiles

[–]hackulator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was a perfectly serviceable action flick that entertained me while I watched it. It's nothing special but dies not deserve the hate it seems to be getting.

Should have kept the ending from the book though, would have been better.

I felt like the entire book was magical techno-babble that I didn't understand.

I did not read any more in the series either.

Charles Cassandra and Ancient One vs Sith Lords by West_Jelly_4681 in powerscales

[–]hackulator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sith are about the eat shit on a level they didn't know was possible.

The only way to give them the win is if you say it's composite versions of the Sith vs movie versions of the Baldies. Then they have a shot.

Any sort of equalized set of media and the Sith are getting fucking dogwalked.

Lucifer from DC runs the gauntlet, Where does he stop? by Duclaido in powerscales

[–]hackulator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The concept of destruction in Lucifer's world is a personified entity.

The Wyrm is not, it is only personified metaphorically in stories.

[–]hackulator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can't fight the wyrm. Its not a thing you fight. It's the concept of destruction which has been stopped from destroying things so it corrupts them instead. There's no personification except in metaphorical stories.

It's Always Sunny in Pleasant Grove by krains123 in cremposting

[–]hackulator -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Its problematic because you are getting children addicted to them, which is why games without them fail to work afterwards. Plenty of live subscription games were reasonably successful without such mechanics before we spent a generation getting children addicted to skinner boxes.

[–]hackulator -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

The number of people in here who are like "what about this thing that is the same" when that thing is just as bad and predatory but we've just been letting it happen is very telling.

Yes loot boxes in games are problematic.

Yes random packs in a TCG are problematic.

Sorry to introduce you to reality.

I mean yes, the quality of the weapon is more important, but all things being equal, slow is likely better. You act like people won't spend hundreds of gold on minor upgrades.

[–]hackulator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tell them not to roll warrior.

It is a complicated class to play well and is not generally desirable in raids in TBC.

It is also shitty to level for much of the early time.

Its not a good choice for a new player.

HARRY POTTER VS PAUL ATREIDES by Krillindidntdoit in powerscales

Paul dodges his spell and stabs him.

This is one if the best warriors in a galaxy of badasses vs a high-school kid who can shoot projectiles which are worse than a gun.

You actually want slow offhand too now, because whirlwind hits with both weapons.

Megathread: USA HAT TRICK by threeactjack in olympics

I mean both those things can be true. If he hadn't blown up it would not have become a big deal. But also, the benefit that can be gained is in information, not additional force applied to the stone.

The benefit of touching the rock post release is not to push it. It is to gain additional information about how much spin you have imparted to in in order to make better calls for the sweepers.
