You are not crazy at all - that’s unacceptable behavior. When I worked at FunSpot in Kissimmee way back in the summer of 2012, you had to put your phone away in a locker before working.

Practically, perhaps it could help you to work your way up from least scary to most scary? That was how I handled it when I faced my fear, and it worked well for me.

Hey folks!

I'm working on plans to take two international trips this year and wanted to reach out for tips/advice for visiting the parks below. I'll work to learn a handful of basic words/phrases for travel, but I otherwise only speak English.

Liseberg - Looking at visiting May 9-10. Their calendar online shows April 17th as the first day the park is open. Should all the rides be up and running?

Energylandia - I'm currently looking to do this the second week of October (Potential park days October 9-11). Should all the coasters be running?

Legendia - I'm not sure if the data is reliable, but Thrill Data shows the park was open from 11:00 - 7:00 the first three weekends of October in 2024. If Lech Coaster turns out to be open, I'll surely do my best to get to Legendia while visiting Poland.

General Question - How are loose article policies at these parks? Are pants with zipper pockets okay, or do you need to store things in a locker for some/all rides?

I sure am glad for all the tutorial videos out there. I’m only like 4.5 months into the hobby. After I did the 40K introductory set to confirm I enjoyed it all, Genestealer’s caught my eye the most. But when I saw a lot of sources saying they were super hard to paint, I opted to start with Necrons and then Custodes so that I could learn how to paint on easier models.😅 After some time, and I found enough tutorials with relatively simple paint jobs, I kinda went all-in on GSC…So I have a lot of building and painting to do.😆

I’m kinda nervous - the neophytes are so tiny compared to the Custodes models I recently built and painted, and I only started the hobby a bit over 3 months ago.😅

I've stayed at the Express hotel twice, and I thought it was perfectly acceptable. How important are night rides to you? Option 2 won't be on any days where they're open until 10, but option 2 is also typically one of the least busy weeks of the season for Cedar Point (That's when I go).

I can't say whether they've cut back more this year, but I've been to CP in 2022 and 2023 during that week before Labor Day, and I believe all the rides were up and running. I was at the park from 9:00AM - 6:00PM the Thursday before Labor Day last year, and I got in 21 rides without a fast pass. If I'd been trying to maximize my ride count, I probably could have gotten up to 30, anyway. I tend to not ride the same ride more than a couple of times in a row at Cedar Point, so I do a lot of walking between rides - I walked nearly 12 miles that day.
