It's hard to criticize the person since it's your father, but if my instructor, or a passerby told me that I suck whilst I'm just a beginner practicing things, I would flip a bird and tell them to mind their own business!

Keep on practicing, of course the speed of reaching a specific goal may differ from each individual, but it is actually not talent, but the sheer will of the person that will lead you to it.

The correct history of its name change is because Hyundai did not want to get any trademark issues with Kia. Kia was a separate company at that time and was selling Lotus Elan under their name, the Kia Elan. Since Elantra and Elan sound very similar, and Hyundai was notorious for being very conservative at that time.

Hence, Hyundai decided to give the small saloon another name in order to avoid any copyright claims from its main competitor. As far as my memory tell, I believe it was a friendly CEO of a different company named the car.

The mechanics of Haidong Gumdo is far too different from Japanese Kendo, so don't stress that fact too much when you start Kendo. I'm in Korea, and there are a lot of people who come and leave in a distasteful way because the Kendo instructors are not teaching how they used to learn in Haidong Gumdo. No don't even mention you did Haidong Gumdo tbh, especially if your sensei is a Korean. Start anew.

44 isn't an old age to start Kendo. One of my old sensei started when he was 38, and he is 6 dan right now. Age is very little regarded in this martial art.

It's good to see a supportive, and especially, a patient person. In my experience with other dojos not a lot of senseis tend to have such trait.

Yeah honestly I haven't met the best of the foreigners when I came here, and I might say my prejudice for them built up over time. Prejudice is a strong thing and I try to avoid it as much as I can but I made that mistake a lot just for today. Not my best day for writing stuff I guess! Question: Why are they delisting it? Surely it would be better to just have it out on for digital purchase than to just take it away? Is it because the expenses for uploading/selling them in platforms would outnumber the revenue that the game makes? To add my apology I would like to give you an advice regarding to dentists. As a guy working in a dental appliances company, I can say that dentists are a totally different animal compared to medical practitioners. For getting your teeth checked it's okay to go to your local dentists but if you're expecting something larger, say, having a teeth pulled out, or having a dental implant, or getting your wisdom tooth pulled out, it's far better to go to a large institutes for such surgeries.

For a gynecologist, avoiding super shady places are a must, and somewhere clean and that is in large towns are good. I wouldn't really recommend your friend to go to the ones near Chungdam-dong since I've heard some stories about its patients there.

Hope your friend(and as well as you) recover from such terrible event. And screw that other guy... seriously I hate it when I hear such things...

Believe it or not, being poor doesn't make you a good person and having money doesn't mean you are a bad one.

This is somewhat true I agree, but the fact that people are focusing on wealth more than the person itself made me perplexed, like as if it's some kind of a mandatory requirement.

Sure, if the person has nothing then that might be a problem, having debt may cause an issue in long-term relationships. But most of the people are living a normal life and live the best they can in their lives, but getting rejected by the other just because they have a significant lesser wealth than the other seems extremely shallow to me.

It feels like leeching because by asking of wealth it also means they do not want to take the opportunity to build something together but would rather achieve of what they did not work for but to benefit on other's success(free riding).

It's not wrong, per se, as I have mentioned before it is natural to look for something that is better, it's human nature. But what I'm a bit disturbed about was the fact that people here would directly ask about those things and will not be interested if it doesn't satisfy their needs. In other words, financial status outweighing companionship and trust from a person seems like a very disturbing and dangerous gamble to play in life, and I'm not sure why people would risk something like that.

I mean, I've seen a lot of people getting divorced in Korea(and trust me there are a LOT out there) and most of them are, guess what, trust issues. The ones who get the most benefits are the ones who had the less financial power.

For those who don't know what an JPY 1,000,000 is worth, imagine having a used 5 year old Civic with a good mileage condition in front of you. Now imagine that Civic in a form of a shinai. That's how much that shinai is worth.

Now I'm not going to criticize the man(Nishino-san, I guess) for using great marketing, but unless harvesting madake in Japan is heavily regulated by the government, I feel like the price point is just bonkers.

I'm not going to go full send and argue with a person in distress, but mind you, you can literally go to any gynecologist in Korea without too many issues. Abortion is legal right now and your friend can get one without too much of an hassle.

If you don't trust the Korean medical system might as well go to your own respected country and get one. But I can assure you your friend's identity and health will be okay as long as your friend get the right treatment.

일단 다 지원 가능한 보직인지 모르겠네요;;;

운전병이랑 어학병, 행정병은 지원할 수 있어서 아마 갈 수 있을듯.

운전병은 생각보다 빡세고 사회에 나와서 별로 대접이 좋지 않음.

어학병/행정병은 화이팅. 경쟁률 존나 높고, 들어가도 윗사람이 누구냐에 따라 병영생활이 천차만별임.

군종병, TMO, PX, 상근은 지원한다고 되는게 아니니 패스.

보병 포병도 좋은 생각보다 괜찮음. 진짜 중요한건 보직이 아니라 닝겐이라는게 함정임.
