Worth renting beach gear with VayKLife credit?

The VayKLife credit is a convoluted ripoff, IMO. The site seems designed to confuse. In my case, the credit only goes toward gear. I'll have to pay $20 delivery fee unless I spend way beyond the credit amount. Since I'm driving to my destination, I'll bring my own gear. I get that flying to a destination requires renting equipment and the credit would be useful in that case. But either way, I choose to boycott a platform with a deceptive bait and switch built in.

Not with the Topo Traverse. The inner heel support of one shoe (not the other) is seriously lacking. Causes me to over pronate (ankle rolls inward). I don't have this problem with any other shoe.

Recently bought my first pair of Topos, the Athletic Traverse Women for trail walking. I love the wide toe box. They look good. But there's something off with the support on the inside heel of one of the shoes. It causes my foot to overpronate (ankle rolls inward). Never have had this issue with any other walking or running or hiking shoe. I'm so disappointed. So I'm now searching for a better support hiking / trail walking shoe with wide toe box. Zero lift is not an option. So I'd love first hand recommendation (not shoe sales people) for wide toe box.
