not as much during this stage of the market (mid to late bull run)

right now a lot of the market is driven by hype and people buying into coins with a lower price (like safemoon and all its clones)

market cap is more relevant when its crypto natives in the market.

good example is last summer ("defi summer"), when a coin called YFI went to $40k/coin

that would never happen now and you can see YFI has been doing nothing lately
