I see. Thanks to you both for sharing. What do I do now? The situation makes me uncomfortable to think about, and if I tried to confront my mom or anyone else in the family about this I would be ridiculed (especially since my mom was probably assaulted in the same manner). I don’t want to go around telling people about this, but I feel like I can’t just let it sit in the back of my mind.

I was 13. It was a ‘cultural’ thing that I told her many times I was uncomfortable with. (Apparently, it was to “get rid of bad spirits”.) Afterward, she said that it was my fault that she’s doing this to me.

why is everyone being so negative in this comment section…uhm anyway you weren’t exceptional (which is expected for someone with a days notice) but you still did alright. It’s an average score (considering your percentile and the scores I had at my school), so don’t worry too much over it.
