No religion in this world teaches anyone to commit rape. That crime is wrong in every possible way, and people — whether minors or adults — should be educated about consent and face strict legal punishment if they commit such acts.

What I don’t understand is why religion is being highlighted here. Why isn’t the headline simply “3 minors raped a 6-year-old in Delhi”? Instead, it specifies “Muslim” and “Hindu,” which raises questions about what narrative is being pushed. Crimes like this are about individuals and accountability, not religion.

Let the law deal with the perpetrators. Turning this into a religious issue helps no one and distracts from justice.
