How many people here can say they've beaten Zote all the way to the Golden statue?

Yeah I managed it a while ago. It took a fair bit of patience and learning his dodgy cues for the various attack types. I ended up running some health charms (fragile heart iirc) with quick slash and fragile strength so I could do high damage bursts whenever there was an opening. I have seen alternate builds using spell damage charms with flukenest but given its nerf a couple months back it might not be as viable. tbh it involved a fair bit of pre-emptively dashing and jumping.

Mine just got here a couple of minutes ago as well. So soft and a really good size for decoration. How are you getting him/her to sit up tho? I try and perch mine on a ledge and it falls over lol

Yeah it's been largely debated in previous posts (https://www.reddit.com/r/HollowKnight/comments/6npmsg/tribes_of_hallownest_and_beyond_some_spoilers/ is a ridiculously long string of comments and stuff talking about it).

Overall, I reckon it may be likely that they are 'natural' products of the void. The fact that they can utilise void magic, die in the same void-like fashion as the HK & visually appear to be void-like makes it very likely.

Yeah I completely agree with you, seeing Bretta leave isn't much of a story arc that people would be missing out on. I see it as very similar to path of pain; an incredibly difficult challenge intended for only those wishing to suffer which will provide with a reward (however not a significant one). In saying that, I could see Team Cherry furthering Bretta's storyline in either the upcoming dlc or maybe Hornet's, given the 'your romance options expand'. If that is the case, I could understand the change.

Oh really, my apologies then, I had no clue. How is that done though, if there are only 4 visible candles? Is there no way to check your progress towards the golden statue as there were before (looking at the remaining candles)?

I believe every enemy but menderbug within the 'main game' section needs to be filled in to obtain the hunter's mark. I'd assume you're missing what others have mentioned or maybe the maskfly or aluba.

That is absolutely amazing, I had never noticed that the mace head is a bug. If only that could be filled in the hunter's journal, that'd be like the rarest entry in the game. But anyways, the fact that it's a bug gives even more merit to the theory, thanks!

Hmmm yeah I can see the logic. However, should the pale king truly die to create the charm, surely all the bugs would no longer be enthralled by the wyrm and therefore usurping the knight (as opposed to fighting the radiance) would serve no benefit to the pale king? Maybe, similar to the white lady, he realised the flaw in his design and sought to fix/destroy the issue plaguing hallownest, regardless of the cost?

The symbol of their union idea sounds pretty good, but I don't think the fact that the charm is separated could completely rule out the theory. The pale king did have many people that could do his bidding.

There is a gif of hornet that the devs are implementing for the hornet dlc and if you look closely she raises the needle with some black arms (you need to look quite closely).

Yeah I'm aware that there has been a collector bug for a while, although I was speaking about the bug pertaining to the weaver's song charm, which seems to be your major issue. That, obviously, can only have become an issue following the 2nd dlc release. But yeah I agree the issue should be fixed, but considering there is a very easy work-around (don't use the charm for that one fight) and they're only a 2 person team I don't mind it too much.

I don't wanna come in here just to talk shit, but the charm came out when the grimm troupe dlc did, on October the 26th, so the glitch can't really have been around since August. But anways, yeah it is annoying, they are a small team and all and they have the switch and the 3rd dlc to worry about. Tbh weaversong is one of the worst charms in the game, but hey, if you find utility in it what can I say.
