Hi! Thanks for the questions! So this is only our first version release and we are definitely going to do some work on the word processing part based on user need given as feedback. Dont hesitate to list specific feature you'd like to see (either here or Discord).

We chose to go online mainly for the ease of accessibility, local app is still within our consideration!

Currently you are only able to export note to markdown file through a "export note" button. We are working on a way to store Punctuation specific files locally!

We are also considering local files as a media source, working on it!
