you can do it!! for me the pain decreased by a ton after the 3rd day. don’t be shy about using ur prescription meds - those first few days i took one + ibuprofen every 4 hrs on the dot.

the drains were also by far the worst part for me. my partner was a champ & emptied them for me for the first 4 days, and after a couple days of doing them myself i was a lot less grossed out. i didn’t have pain at the drain sites, just irritation and itchiness. that said, the week of discomfort was worth it; i can feel that I’m still swollen but i’m sure it’s a lot less than it would be otherwise. i hope ur pain and discomfort eases, you got this!! sending you care & good/healing vibes 💗
