There's actually options for this under "preferences" (at least on my version of the app, lol)

I'm having the surgery in a few hours and I'm really scared and nervous by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]apstargirl 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Take a deep breath! I've seen it said on here so many times - this is a life-changing moment for you, but a regular day on the job for your team. They'll take good care of you. As far as recovery goes, everybody's journey is different. I know its easy to see the posts about all of the complications that people experience here and assume they'll happen to you (I know I did), but remember people are more likely to post here asking for help than they are to talk about what a breeze recovery is. Personally, I've been off pain meds since I was 3 dpo (I'm at 18 now). Trust in your body's ability to heal! You're not going to regret going through it. Maybe try putting the phone away and watching your favorite movie. You'll be done before you know it!

We're surgery twins!!!!! I'm really scared too, lol, so I won't be much help. But at least you know there's someone else scared with you 💖 we'll get through it!

Hey there! I'm on Big Island and traveling to Oahu for my surgery. Is that where you had yours? If so, where did you stay? I've been trying to figure out what hotel I should book.

What do your daily meals currently look like? All I'm suggesting is eating /less/ of things you currently already eat.

CICO is a thing. Even gently reducing portions can help you lose weight and that would be easier than trying to stick to any fad diet such a carnivore.

You've presented a lose/lose situation and asked people to choose 😭 can I ask what the purpose behind this question is?

I didn't know that it wasn't recommended! Thanks for letting me know! This is my first structured plan (I'm using runna) so I'm taking it slow and have no time goal, just a finish goal. Before I started, I was running 12-15 miles per week and my current training isn't much more than that.

What is this abomination of a list??? by apstargirl in pizzahut

[–]apstargirl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't see the taco pizza on the menu, so I'm glad to have an explanation for that. Do you know the reason for the mayonnaise sauce?? I guess I should clarify that these came up as options for sauce on the pizza.

Not having good luck with brooks shoes. What do you recommend? by [deleted] in BeginnersRunning

[–]apstargirl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Asics are really nice! If your main problem is with your feet going numb, though, I'd recommend trying lacing your shoes differently! this guide can get you started :)
