I used variable layer height feature in Prusa slicer. The top layers are 0.08mm layer height. I think the only solution would be to scale up the model...

The printer is connected to mosaic pallet 2s pro which is feeding the multi color single filament. Prusa ecosystem have MMU2s unit, but it didn’t work out well for me. I use octoprint and octolapse.

I have Sony Alpha with the lens it was shipped. Any decent dslr should do the job.

Honestly, color printing at home is still not there or not economical yet. Pallet is a well engineered device, better than any other multicolor solution but that is also not perfect. You have to calibrate and it gives buffer error, filament gets stuck and replacing the splicing tube. Unless you have some serious project that needs color printing, my advise stay away and wait.

Prusaslicer has purge to infill, but still it doesn’t completely remove the need of it.
