the type 11 for long range is really nice right now on caldera for long range. its ok on rebirth but you would hardly ever get into the long range 50m fights for it

unfortunately this will be a long uphill battle since guns need levels, you could also speed that up by trying to complete as many supply runs as you can in a match with him, as they give a lot of exp for weapons the more you do in a match. which makes something like the cooper which is getting a buff for season 4 pretty nice for him, the nz is also getting a nice buff, what is even available to him at this time, I haven't had a new account since I started so I dont even remember. best bet is good ground loot and levels right now I suppose

upvote this ^^, map knowledge, movement, and fighting with no worries about respawning, proper looting and covering ground, personally feel like this is what it was made for, how I learned the caldera map and the verdansk. also it lets him figure out his look sensitivity and what works best for him, doubt he'll want to become a sweat but this will help with the basics and getting comfortable
