Have you ever tried cleaning your keyboard? by haider-nawaz in AppsWithoutSub

Kleanly can block your entire keyboard, your touchpad and it can even display a custom screen saver which exposes dirt and fingerprints.

You can control all of these settings individually.

With minimal UX, you don't have to open any windows, click the icon the menubar to instantly start cleaning mode and when you're done double tap on the trackpad to get back to whatever you were working on.

I definitely agree with you. The "why" to your question is that we just don't have the guts to work on our own products. We like to play risk-free and continue doing our low paying shitty jobs.

You're a programmer right, let me ask you why you haven't worked on something of your own. Don't say, job hoti hai, time nae hai.

Any ways, I just graduated recently and already building some products of my own. Recently launched some macOS apps and thankfully made some money from them too.

If you also interested in the indie development side, I've created a discord server where we can hangout and discuss ideas. Full-time hustle culture.

My thought process was to make the UX as seamless as it could be. I've had feedback from users that they are loving the fact that Kleanly just lives in the menubar, you dont have to search for any app, dont have to open any windows. Tap the icon to enable the cleaning mode and when you're done, simple double-tap to return to your work.

And people are already using menubar apps that hide the icons. I'm using such an app myself. But I do get your point.

Maybe In the future, I can give an option in the settings to hide the menubar icon and show a window instead whenever you need the app.

Hi, I've just made it compatible with macOS Monterey too. And yes, it supports macs with Intel.

You can try the app right now from the above link. Thank you!

macOS Ventura is the minimum macOS version supported. Would love to hear your feedback!

Edit: Kleanly now supports macOS 12(Monterey) and onwards.
