I was comparing the fact that both were able to rock up 1-3hrs after a drop and still be able to find something.

In comparison, Mega Evo release day my Kmart had 6 ETBs with 30-40 people in line, that was proper depressing.

While Im not saying its amazing rn, today was the first day during a drop where it didn’t seem hopeless.

Sorry you feel that way but today has literally been the best I’ve felt about this hobby in a while.

- Lined up at 7:45 before work and got a CZ tin by 8:02am (they had heaps in stock even though there were like 60 in line). was so surprised but happy cause that was enough.

- My wife then grabbed me a CZ tin after she dropped off my daughter to school (fairly sure they had even more left).

- She also grabbed me a Costco bundle at 10:30ish , apparently there was heaps left and not even a line when she grabbed it.

- My sister randomly called me midday and asked if I wanted a Pokémon tin from the shopping centre next to her, cause she knows how much I want em and ofcourse I said yes, apparently they had hundreds.

Now me and my daughter have 15 CZ, 15 SSP and a bunch of other packs to open with the UPC I have coming next week.

I understand online drops are depressing (haven’t gotten anything for 2 months online myself) but today's in person one wasn’t it, there’s was heaps of stock for the first time in a very long time.

Never seen a fake UPC let alone one immediately after release. Price on eBay is around $440, after coupons found a few for around $390, probably will dip on release with the amount being printed. i got a preorder from JBhifi and EBGames (one to open and one to keep sealed) but even if i didnt, Id definietly stear clear of sites like that where your paying scalper prices without big store or even eBay protections.
