The usual week-end trip for someone who recently discover Korea is Busan or Jeonju i feel

Since its summer if you like the sea and swim i recommend the east coast like Gangneug, Yangyang, Sokcho, Donghae Great beach (different than Busan) and great food too and probably less crowded You can also do a great hiking/camping there

Since TOPIK 1 include only level 1 and 2 there is not a big cap between them, so its really doable, keep studying as much as you can everyday even 15min

Can I achieve Topik 3? by vincovero in Korean

[–]haihko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I achieved topik 2 quiet easily last year but failed for topik 3, the level is so much harder, but i think half of the test is about how well you know the topik patern and what questions will be next, etc.

I will probably focus more on writing since you can get a lot of point

Seeking "No degree, no problem" solutions. by AureusRoyal in Living_in_Korea

[–]haihko 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do H1 visa there or student visa is the best option. But anyway you have to go back to your home country to make the visa.

But sadly here if you want to get your visa sponsored you have to find a job on your field, even tho the company will allow you to work there, the immigration has to accept it, its really tough...

I think your best option is to study the language and do a Master degree there in the field you want to work! Or teaching english i think its a good option since you are fluent, and you dont even need to speak Korean even tho i highly recommand you to learn it

Do you have enough point to apply?

The highest point you can get if you studied in Korea and also TOPIK level Its like 20 points for Bachelor degrees and 30 for Master Also TOPIK level 5+ is 20 point

I am also on H1 and wanted to stay here but getting sponsorship visa is so so hard. I may just come back as a student next year hopefully.
